I'm a Catholic convert (from Protestantism) in love with Jesus and the Church He founded. I'm married to Forrest, an amazing man who has made quite a journey with me, following God, and we are blessed with six precious children.

David is cute

The boys were playing out in the garden yesterday, and David made Timothy's toy pickup truck drive over to the gate going to the alley. "He's go to New Zealand!" he tells me, pointing at the truck.
It's raining (Hallelujah!) and David was just outside, jumping and dancing, yelling, "Lightning and Thlun-low! Lightning and Thlun-low!"

Pictures

The boys' new bed, that Forrest made. Was that the week before last? I think so. Toddler-size bunkbed.

Noelle on her tummy. Yes, in front of the TV. She's interested in anything that moves and/or makes noise. She is extremely distracted.

This is how tall Noelle is next to Bella Hathaway, who is a year and a day older.

Daddy tickling the girlie. Hope Forrest doesn't mind I posted a shirtless picture of him.

Baby news and Toddler potty-training

Noelle has started sitting up by herself. She still usually falls over if I'm not right there to catch her, but she can balance for a few seconds or so, especially if she has a toy to lean over and play with. She also got her first and second teeth, and has been babbling a bunch lately. Some just "Aaahh" and a lot of "Bababababa" and some "Dadada" even! It's so cute.
And yesterday I decided I needed to get motivated with the whole idea of potty-training David, so had him try lots of times throughout the day. He went two or three times yesterday, and already today he's gone three times, had one "accident" (if you can even call it that this early in training) and seems pretty excited about becoming a big boy. Especially when a little piece of candy is the reward!
I love it when all the kids are quiet in bed. When Forrest is at work and all the kids are taking a nap, it's my chance to do whatever. Yesterday I got to really get the house much cleaner than the disaster it was. Today there isn't so much to catch up on, so I decided to update. I was going to put pictures up, but have been having problems. We'll see.
My brother Matthew got a HyperStatic Union album, and now that I've discovered their music I'm a fan. Musically, they are of an extraordinary caliber. I've really enjoyed the Lifegiver album and recommend it to everyone who doesn't dislike rock.
