Manito
On Thursday last week we went to Manito with Lynne' and Youssef and LilyAnne. It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny; the flowering trees were in bloom, and although the roses weren't blooming and Duncan Gardens isn't planted yet, there were still a lot of things to see.
Timothy gets ready to throw a frisbee...
And there it goes. He can throw them really well--puts me to shame sometimes.
David sees Timothy throwing one, so wants to play too. Here he runs to get his frisbee.
In the conservatory, Forrest found a statue that looked just like Youssef!
David, Timothy, and Youssef, and a couple rocks.
We walked over to the Japanese garden, which we knew would be beautiful. It was dreamy. A weeping cherry tree drooped its flowery branches over the pond; azaleas were in bloom; everything was lovely.
Noelle and I.
Forrest and the boys
LilyAnne is pretty savvy about UV rays and protecting her eyes
Lynne' was the only adult Forrest could get to "break the rules" and go out on the rock beyond the fence.
